Wildfire burned 95 acres of Mission Trails Regional Park over the weekend, according to the San Diego Union Tribune.

This trail closure information is posted on the MTRP website:

Due to the fire on Kwaay Paay on Sunday afternoon, the south entrance to Father Junipero Serra Trail (the Visitor Center end) at Mission Gorge Road and the gate at the east end of Father Junipero Serra Trail (by the Old Mission Dam) will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic until further notice. There will be no access to the following trail heads: Oak Grove Loop, Climbers Loop and Kwaay Paay. According to Battalion Chief Froelich, ‘the fire has burned about 95 acres and is 85% contained as of 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Crews will be working through the night and on Monday.’
