Some of our favorite places combine strenuous outdoor activity with the luxury of a hot soak afterwards. Such is the après appeal of ski area cabins and hotspring hikes.
Now an Oregon-based company has made the outdoors/hot tub combo a matter of choice versus convenience. The Original Nomad collapsible tub and frame, combined with a propane fueled water heating system, let’s you take bring a portable hot tub on your adventures.
The company recommends using a Honda WX10 portable water pump that is capable of filling the Nomad tub in 10 minutes — you’ll need a water source, of course, not an easy find necessarily in SoCal.
The tub and frame cost $550 and the water heating coil (sans propane) runs $625.
