Trail stewards needed for Southern California sections of PCT
Up for some do-gooding in the outdoors? The Pacific Crest Trail Association has the perfect gig for you.
The association is looking to expand its recently launched trail stewards program in Southern California, and is looking for volunteers to take responsibility for SoCal sections of the Pacific Crest Trail.
Each steward will be responsible for a two- to 10-mile segment of the Pacific Crest Trail and act as liaison and the “eyes and ears” for that segment.
Stewards can work when its convenient for them, and are typically assisted by friends, family and other volunteers. For more information, contact Anitra Kass at email@example.com
The PCTA launched its SoCal trail stewardship program last fall, hoping to have the entire trail in Southern California under the watchful eyes and care of volunteers.
