Joshua Tree is located in Riverside County, California, a couple hours east downtown Los Angeles. Take the I10 East to enter into the park from the south side, or split off earlier and head northeast on CA 62-E to enter from the north near the town of Joshua Tree or Twentynine Palms.
Coming from Phoenix, head northwest on I10 and enter the park from the south on Cottonwood Springs Road.
