Laguna Campground is located in Laguna Mountain Recreation Area, about an hour drive from San Diego, near little Laguna Lake. The campground is forested with pines and oaks, and area is known for great hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking trails.

The campground is organized around five loops of campsites, and is equipped with campfire rings, flush toilet restrooms and coin-operated showers. Several sites are home to the endangered Laguna Skipper butterfly and some areas are fenced off to protect them.

Driving Directions

Laguna Campground is located 50 miles east of San Diego. Take I-8 to Sunrise Highway exit and go approximately 15 miles to Laguna/El Prado Campground, just beyond the 26 mile marker. Stop at the entrance station for campground information and site location.
