Driving Directions

From north of the park: From Twenty Nine Palms Highway in Twentynine Palms, head south on Utah Trail road for 4 miles, where the road turns into Park Blvd. and enters Joshua Tree National Park. Continue traveling south for 4.6 miles, where the road will fork with Pinto Basin Road. Stay right to remain on Park Blvd. and travel about 3.45 miles to the turn off for the campground on the left.

From south of the park: Enter Joshua Tree National Park from Interstate 10, taking Exit 16B onto Cottonwood Springs Road. Go north on Cottonwood Springs Road for around 6.77 miles, where the road will fork into three different roads (Pinkham Canyon Road, Pinto Basin Road and Cottonwood Oasis Road). Take the Pinto Basin Road roughly 30 miles and turn left onto Park Blvd. and travel about 3.45 miles to the turn off for the campground on the left.
