Indian Cove Campground is a sprawling, boulder strewn campground located in the northern part of Joshua Tree National Forest, near the Wonderland of Rocks. The towering rock formations of the campground are popular with rock climbers. The area has its own park entrance road that doesn’t connect with the rest of the park’s road network, which makes it less crowded than more popular areas. Reservations are available October through May.
